I HAVE TO DO IT ALL
Subject: Fwd: MADRID, LAND USE, CLIMATE CHANGE, VIEWS, THE COLLECTIVE, AND THE TURQUOISE TRAIL
fRAM DEM TAAK BOUT waste of time, mi know seh mi haffi RISE$ up an shine. So here I be at four in the AM, having slept an hour.
It now dawns on me that I have to design it all. I think of Adams architecture having a style, and I have a sty6le. It's the same style for all parts of the globe. That is somewhat the way colonial powers built. We are in a new colonial era. For those of us who are anglophones the new era is a an amalgam, a subtle mix of British, Jamaican and American. Each one can claim to be the essential element, but they are all different, parts of a system that requires internal variation in order to run. When it suits them, each element can claim to be top dog, but they all must be reminded that without the others, the system will not work.
Mek dem treat wi hero soh?
Let it be known henceforth and forever that Marcus Garvey Garvey heritage comprises the entirety of St, Ann's Bay, most particularly 19th century wooden building he grew up around.
i LIKE aDAMS nEOCLASSICAL ARCHITECTURE, AND i'M SEEING THAT sTANLEY bARROWS AT PARSONS LIKED the style as well. I drew Adams buildings at Parsons bacik in the 50's, so I'm merely claiming my heritage now. What a ride!!!!!
The thing about the new Adams is that it is so environmental. It is essentially about the land. Roofs won't always grow food, but wherever possible, they will (show Adams buildings There's something of the ornate and fanciful inside There's the aspect of the folly).
