This leads to a recording approach which goes beyond SAB and applies to all of Jamaica and beyond. The photos are of another old coastal town, with similar issues.

- Determine the exact traditional (before sprawl) boundaries of old towns toward future "old town" walking tourism.

- Photograph each street along the lines Donnette demonstrated for one side of one street viewed from the intersection.

- Crossing over to the other side of the intersection gives you a view of the opposite side of the street.

- Going to the far end of the street and repeating the process might advance thoroughness or might just add unnecessary complexity at this early stage of the game. (Given the urgency of the project, we might be better off with the view from only one end of the road.)

- Repeat the process for the cross streets.

- Match these street photos to the Google satellite map of the town so that we are enabled to make practical suggestions for preservation at identifiable locations.

What are your thoughts on this?
